Mother Goose Parade 2008!
What a great day in San Diego. The day was perfect, the people were perfect, and I got to cruise down the parade route in a 1962 Convertible Chevy Impala LOWRIDER. "Hit The Switches" they kept on telling us as we cruised low and slow down the 2 mile stretch.

"PROJECT X"
So I sold my '63 Impala to a my fraternity brother from college. He wanted a turn key car that drove as good as it looked and well you know how I am with my passion for cars, my '63 Impala Super Sport was all that and more.
Do I miss it? Of course I do that was years of hard work & passion and most importantly it was everything I ever wanted in nice Lowrider style car, it was my dream car. It was all "OG" and turned a lot of heads and won some awards. It was fun and I will never forget that car, and hopefully one day I will be able to buy it back.
My latest car is a 1961 Chevrolet Convertible Impala, "Project X"(no name yet). I found it in Fall Brook and in the middle of nowhere. I'd like to thank Tony from Dukes c.c. for the lead on the car and Pelon, Leo, & Marisa for helping me on my journey to get it home. I'm so blessed to have friends like those who always look out for me, I just hope I do the same when they're on the "hunt" for their next project.
What's Next? As soon as I completely strip the car down, it will be getting some paint. The paint will be sponsored by Ray Garcia and PPG. The last car I did was all PPG and I got so many compliments so I will stick to that winning combo.
More details to come as I do this project Back Yard Boogie Style and try to save money where I can. The recession is touching everyone I know including myself so I have to be smart with what I have and do it right.
Thanks for stopping by,
